Acrylic is a beautiful and delicate medium that I love working with. There is a beautiful harmony that I need to honour when using this method because you can’t force or have 100% control over the outcome. It takes years of choreography to learn to respect the fluidity and velocity of pigment and how it dances on each substrate. I’m obsessed with colour matching and spend days mixing the perfect shade.
This piece is a story, journey and map of colours and tones I created while studying to be a forest bathing guide. I revisited my favourite colours and created abstract pieces inspired by nature.
