Be sure to bring a sit-spot—an item to sit on—to keep dry and warm during the forest bathing experience. Opt for something thin like an old yoga mat or upcycled plastic to maintain closeness to the earth without getting soaked. Additionally, waterproofs, multiple layers for warmth, and water to drink are essential. Feel free to bring along a notebook for journaling or sketching.
The session will begin at the forest entrance with a brief introduction followed by a leisurely walk into the forest. We'll engage in mindful meditation and use our senses to connect with the natural surroundings in a mindful way. Afterwards, we'll gather to enjoy a cup of tea inspired by nature, sharing our observations from the journey. Finally, we'll return to the forest entrance for a short walk back.
